The Lang Tengah Getaway | Day Two

Day two in Lang Tengah did not start by looking at the sunrise as some of us were quite pissed, a result of the night before's activity. It was either that or we were sleep deprived to be able to wake up early the next morning.

It was a lazy morning which some of us missed the breakfast served by the resort. Raj was even quoted saying that the breakfast served in his head was so much better than the breakfast served after having us describe about it.

There was supposed to be the second session of snorkelling at 2.30pm but we have all decided to skip it in return for a more relaxing afternoon at the place of our choice.
It is just another step that you have to take in life.
So after lunch (or in our case brunch), we've decided to spend the afternoon at the sunset beach area. The walk definitely did feel some what shorter than it had the previous day although we had a lot to carry - life jacket, snorkelling googles, towels, cameras and various other things.

The afternoon's activity ranges from snorkelling around the area which I have followed and saw beautiful and colourful school of fishes; beach football with the volleyball because that's the only ball we have brought, bury human in sand up to the neck;
Okay, this is not a picture that buries someone 'up to the neck'. There's one but I think it's very obscene that it is probably best not to put it up here. lol
photography;
Sat on the beach bench, looked up and saw this and thought that it was pretty calming. Just not if the coconuts decide to drop on your head.  :P
while some of us also decided to sit in the sea water and just enjoy playing with the waves; or simply sit and enjoy the afternoon.
Beauty is subjective.
The enjoyable afternoon came and go. But it wasn't the end because we've found this really nice looking volleyball court on our way there. So we have decided to stop for a bit on our way back for a few games of volleyball.

Definitely an addictive game because as I am writing this post thinking of the fun we have had on the court, I feel like going there to play it all over again!

Anyhow, this court is located at a resort just right before the sunset place. A deserted resort because we have not seen any tourists wondering around the beach, or probably because it wasn't the school holidays yet?

The deserted court looked very nice and that is until you have decided to do a dive. There's sort of metal ground beneath the sand (the sand layer is quite thin) and if you do some sliding stunts, your legs might just painfully hit the metal ground. Ouch!

That evening found us again in the resort's pool. This time for a game of water Captain Ball. This is where I think we disrupt the peace of the other tourists chilling and reading on the beach bench around the pool area enjoying their evening with our happy cheers and strategic shouts.
The fun game ended with Melissa's signal that the Maggi cup is ready for us. Forever grateful

After dinner, we have found boardgames to play among ourselves. You can get from the reception counter. There are books and magazines as well, although I really do not think the night lighting around the dining area is enough for reading purposes.
And there's ice-creams too. It was like a domino effect. Raj bought it first since he decided not to bother about it being RM6.00 since we're on a holiday. He sat beside me, so he was flashing the ice-cream in my direction the whole time. Grrr... and in the end, I succumb into the temptation. :|

For most, the night ended with several games of Mafia to which we ended up having this big and loud debate of strategy of the spy and mafia. haha!

For some others, the night ended with an attempt of night photography of the sky which somehow failed due to the cloudy sky caused by the rain earlier. So this is what we ended up doing thanks to Ben.
Hamster ball protection!
I have always wonder how it really works.
