Howling at the Moon

The much anticipated "New Moon", the second series to the Twilight saga is showing in cinemas this 26th November!

Can't wait?
There's a premier screening ONE day before the actual screening and Nuffnang, courtesy of Tayangan Unggul Sdn. Bhd., is giving out 30 pairs of tickets to lucky Nuffnangers! (I want the tickets! =D)

I wasn't aware of the existence of the Twilight saga before Twilight the movie was out in the cinema about a year ago. After watching the first movie, I didn't immediately ran to the stores to get the book cause I wanted to wait for Christmas (hahahahaha..!!) If it was a Christmas gift, I dun need to take out my own money to buy mar. hehehe..

Read here for the post before.

Alright, I admit during that time, I wanted to read the book so much because I got attracted to Robert Pattinson.

BUT now, I am over him already la since there are so many other new targets out there with my never ending list. haha..

I couldn't wait for Christmas, so I bought my first Twilight Saga before Christmas. The book actually tastes like drugs! Once I started, I couldn't stop. For those book worms, you'll know how I feel. It's like, when you're so into a book, you'll want to finish it as fast as possible to know the ending. Or if you're the impatient one, you'll just flip to the last chapter to read the ending (but that is like 'potong stim' la. lol).

So I went on and on reading it and managed to finished the book within two days. After book one, I went hunting every bookstore for the second, New Moon.

At that time, getting hold of the book was like getting hold of gold. The book was a very "hot" series at that period of time. Hardly any copy can be found in any bookstores. They'll tell you that its sold out and in the 'ordering process'. If you want to get hold of it, you better be put on the reserve list first. But their ordering period was VERY long. huh..

In about a month or so, I finally collected all the four books and read all of them within a few days after purchase.

I personally prefer books to tie-in-movies-books. They provide more detailed descriptions and allow me to indulge myself into the character itself. And like said, this collection of books are like drugs. You couldn't get enough of it. I get to feel what every character thinks whether it is Jacob, Edward or Bella. It makes the story ever more interesting that it should be. Movies are however okay, since we need some visualisations at times.

I like to read on Edward's and Bella's part but not so on Jacob's for some unknown reason. I admire Jacob and his pack's ability to read each others mind though. Very good for communicating but you'll lose all your personal privacy and thoughts which makes it not that nice at times. >.<

The Twilight saga is ever evolving especially towards the last book, Breaking Dawn. If you read, you'll know what I mean. I was eager to get to the end of the book, but as I reached the end, I didn't actually want it to end. That's how I feel la.

The whole series is really exciting to read. If you're a reader, you should start reading the books. I even lend my cousin and aunt the books and they couldn't wait to finish it. Haha.. My cousin finished all four books in a week! That's how exciting it is.

I would definitely try to find time to read the entire collection again soon. =)
*********
New Moon, the movie I bet most girls have been waiting for. More twists and 'leng chais' to see. haha.. In the movie, we can now see Jacob transforming into a wolf. He now knows about the pact that Cullens and his ancestors made years ago. There's so much more to that, that we'll see in the movie. Besides, he is better looking in this picture too with shorter hair =D

Before

After
So 'yeng' right? See his six packs? *drolls*.

Too much to explain so either you watch this trailer and catch the movies in the cinema later this month

OR get your hands on the books and read them =D You won't regret.

p/s: Nuffnang, I want the tickets pweety purlease.. *blink blink*

HAHAHA.. yeah, I liked Edward because Jacob had long hair which looks ugly on him. Now that he have became more muscular and handsome'r', I like him more than Edward. <3

"So many other new targets out there with my never ending list" << haha it's so funny, the way you put it.

And yes, I was never a fan of the Twilight series, im just crazy over Lautner! /omg-whines-squeals-like-a-crazy-fan-girl

Samantha,
Haha, That statement is true. Will change target every time I see some good looking guy in movies. Then the list grows and it never ends =)

I was never a fan of Twilight either before the first movie came out. Didn't know the existance of the book either. But after the movie and reading all the books, it got me so hooked into it.

Did you read the book by any chance?
